My documentary is about why the world has not ended yet as there were set dates in the past which were predicted by religous people but have predicted wrong, specifically the most recent 'judgement day' 21/12/12. In my documentary I will be discussing why these dates were made, who by and for what reason.
Section 1-Introduction
Archive footage The introduction will be a small clip from a movie which is related to my topic, this will pause at the scene and a voiceover over the paused scene. Scene Cuts to piece to camera while I (Presenter) is still talking.

Section 2-
VT The VT will be a small briefing of what my documentary is about which will include graphics

What: A small montage of what the documentary is about and what is to come in this documentary.

Section 3-
Vox pops with graphics displayed aside.
Where: Outside O2 arena entrance
What: Publics opinion on end of the world and whether they believe it is true or false. Also what they would do if they believed it was true.

Section 4-
Facts with cutaways to graphics and animation of facts. Similar to a kids tv show called horrible histories, I will present my facts in the style of an animation which makes the documentary more interesting to watch.

What: talking about the assumptions and reasons why people believe the world will end or change on this day, and what was expected to happen on this day.

Section 5-
Interview with cutaways to archive footage of natural disaters such as earthquakes, tsunami's, tornados etc.

What: Talking about these disaters and how they are related to the dates and religon/science.

Piece to Camera cuts to me talking to the camera about the next topic.
Where: A science lab
What: mid/close up of me talking to the camera about the next part of the topic which will be the statistics side showing how many people followed this, what days are predicted in future and for what reason.

Interview with cutaways to archive footage of disasters, still images.

What: Interview with a strong believer about why they believe dooms days are real, what evidence they have.
Who: With a strong believer, someone who follows and is apart of a dooms day cult

Piece to Camera with graphics and archive footage of potential evidence backing the interviewee

What: Talking about the interview and how many people are apart this cult

Animation A short animation about the mayans which I will create in Flash, will contain graphics

Interview with expert with few cutaways to archive footage.

What: On what they believe in and why the world did not experience three days of darkeness from a solar eclipse (Which is what they predicted to happen). How they came to the conclusion that the world will experience three days of darkness

What: Evaluating the interview which was with the expert

What: Summarizing and concluding my opinion on dooms days, if they are real and untrue and just a way to create attention and scare the world. Also if it can make money for certain people.
